Not That Leather Jacket Again

Shirt - ASOS (similar here and here), Leather Jacket - All Saints, Jeans - ASOS, Converse - Schuh

Ello ello! Me again! Not a super exciting outfit today but thought I would post it anyway. I found a white and a blue shirt in the back of my wardrobe the other day, put the white one on, covered it in lily pollen and wood varnish, and changed into the blue one. Outfit sorted.

This photo was taken just before me, mum, Owen and my brother headed down to Marlow to spend a weekend at The Hand and Flowers. I will give more details about this in my next post as I'm headed to bed in a mo (I'm sooooo tired) but I can assure you it was amazing and anybody thinking of going should definitely definitely go - you will need to book waaaaay ahead of time!

Have you ever been to Marlow? Where's your favourite hotel?

Keeping White Jeans White

T-shirt - ASOS, Jeans - Missguided, Sandals - Birkenstocl, Bag - Mulberry Taylor Satchel (no longer sold, but other beautiful bags here), Jacket - All Saints

Sunglasses - Ray-Ban, Bangle - Stella & Dot, Bracelet - Warehouse @ ASOS

How blimmin' glorious is this weather?! Don't quite know what to do with myself when the weathers like this...I so should be revising but I sooooo want to be sunbathing and reading a good book!

Yesterday I spent the day doing a bit of work then a bit of fun after. After revising all day, I met up with my friend Alex (who kindly took these photos for me - thanks babes!!!!!!) and we walked an hour to a pub in the nearby village of Harborne. After sitting outside The Plough and enjoying a drink (white wine spritzer for me, Aspall's berry cider for Alex) we headed down the high street to Arco Lounge. Neither of us had been here before but it had all of its doors wide open and the atmosphere was lovely and bonus! It was tapas tuesday! 3 tapas dishes and a glass of wine for £9ish, and they were delicious.

Somehow, throughout eating and drinking and walking on damp grass, I DID indeed manage to keep my white jeans white. This is a rarity for me, a girl who struggles to get her food straight in her mouth without splattering/crumbling/spilling something down my top and/or trousers. Almost feel like I deserve a little medal. Was so nice to get my Birkenstocks out for the first time this year too - definitely feels like summers on its way when they come out!

Have you been making the most of the weather? Are you a fan of Tapas?

The Midi

Skirt - ASOS, Tshirt - ASOS (similar), Shoes - ASOS, Jacket - All Saints

Yesterday was just a day of revision so a stretchy midi skirt was all I really needed. Comfort = key. I just chucked a t-shirt on with it (which, lets be honest, didn't stay done up for long) and popped my ballet flats on again. Midi skirt + crop top always remind me a bit of Kim K, don't think I quite pull it off as well as her though!

When you are a student or at school this time of the year is always the most frustrating - the weather outside is gorgeous and all you're supposed to be doing is revision! Motivation seems very hard to come by, eh? Particularly when your Instagram feed is full of celebs at Coachella like mine is. Coachella festival is something high up on my bucket list and I would really like to go to at some point in my twenties...but to be fair my Bucket List is very, very long so I'm not sure I will be able to achieve everything on there!

Are you revising for any exams? What's on your Bucket List?

Spring in my Step

Skirt - ASOS, Jacket - All Saints, Top - ASOS, Shoes - ASOS, Sunglasses - ASOS, Watch - Marc Jacobs (similar), Chain bracelet -Stella & Dot , Bracelet - Warehouse, Bag - Topshop

Ah once again it was sunny yesterday! As you can see I went into all out summer "HALLELUJAH THE SUN IS SHINING" mode which really was a good move, if I do say so myself, as the weather already seems to be taking a turn for the worst/turning back into the usual April weather.

I bought this skirt from ASOS the other day and was toying with getting the matching top too but decided against it on the realisation that I have no money and shouldn't really even be buying the skirt. I think I'm going to start wearing more midi length skirts, they're comfier than shorter ones and also don't bare the same if-a-gust-of-wind-blows-everyone-will-see-my-knickers dilemma. This cropped vest is also an ASOS purchase (I'm a walking talking ASOS advert it appears at the moment...) and is super flattering.

My bag is just my standard every day bag from Topshop and is the perfect size to fit all my necessities in plus a bit extra. I blimmin' love my new sunglasses too (I must remind myself I don't have any money...). I've been after a mirrored/flash lens pair for ages and I always find that club master shapes are quite a good shape for my face so low and behold, ASOS had the ideal pair.

Also, check out my gin & tonic cupcakes! I made these yesterday (must remind myself I have work to be doing) so let me know if you fancy a 'Foodie Friday' post with the recipe!

Are you making the most of the sun? Do you enjoy baking?

Check Mate

Dress - Pull&Bear at ASOS, Sunglasses - River Island, Shoes - ASOS (nude sold out, similar here

Another really lovely day today - and I think it is set to continue! Seeing as the weather is so nice I decided to get the pasty pins out again (maybe they will catch a bit of colour soon) in order to wear my new shirt dress. I am big into items of clothing at the moment which require no effort - a bit "chuck on and go" which is precisely why I love this dress. Also I am becoming a minor denim obsessive...

I don't often shop at Pull & Bear but refound them when scouring ASOS. As a sister company to Zara it won't surprise you that it actually has some really nice items - I love these summery camisoles and this shirt has a great shape. Might be a website worth checking out for some summer bits and bobs!

For some reason my hair has come out with a very ginger tinge in these photographs...it isn't actually ginger in real life so not sure what thats about. I think I may have to go back to the hairdressers and ask for a few lighter highlights around my face as I'm not sure the shade is quite right for my skin tone but oh well!

Do any of you shop at Pull & Bear?

To Post or Not To Post...

Denim shirt - Zara, Jeans - ASOS, Shoes - Topshop, Watch - Marc Jacobs (similar here)

...that is the question! As indicated by the title of this post, I wasn't entirely sure whether or not to put this outfit up or not. I thought, though, that this would be a good opportunity for me to show you I stayed true to my promise of getting my hair cut/coloured - no more roots, woohoo! My mum reckons I have subconsciously gone for a bit of a Jen An hair style, so you could say I asked for a 'Rachel'. Ideally I would've liked for it to be coloured a bit lighter but hey ho, I'm sure the sun will help me out with making it look a little brighter!

I picked these shoes up from Topshop today - they don't photograph too well but they are great IRL. A perfect in-between winter-spring-summer shoe! I wore them with a bit of denim-on-denim although this time my denim shirt is khaki. Ooh-errr I hear you say! This shirt was actually a Zara purchase some time a go and I'm struggling to find anything similar - the closest I can find is this which although a lovely shirt, isn't entirely similar to the one I'm wearing! If I find anything closer I will be sure to link it up.

I went to my friends Zoe's for dinner today and had a loooovely thai green curry with spelt flour naan breads (definitely going to try and make these myself!). It's always nice to catch up with home friends when we've been away at uni for so long!

What have you fellas been up to today?

Feelin' Boho

Dress - Zara, Boots - Topshop (similar here)

Ooh two posts in two days! I'm on something of a roll, eh?

Today definitely felt as though it was the first day of real Spring. I woke up to bright sunshine, the birds haven't stopped tweeting all day and daffodils seem to be everywhere...(sounds like something out of Cinderella). It was lush.

This dress is a new addition to my wardrobe and I lurve it. Its so loose and comfy whilst probably being the most boho item I own (Fearne Cotton has it so it must be cool). I can't take credit for finding this dress though as it was actually my mum that bought it and decided she didn't want it so gave it to me! Very lucky girl.

The weather forecast looks promising for the rest of the week (especially Friday) and I can't wait - nothing like a bit of sunshine to put you in a good mood. I need to make some fun outdoorsy plans I think! It was so nice walking around in bare legs today (although they are super pasty) without feeling ridiculous/chilly.

I forgot to mention in yesterdays post that I have changed my instagram name - I used to just use my personal insta to "advertise" the blog but now use @bdazzlesblog so make sure you follow if you want to keep up to date with everything on here!

What are you guys up to this week? Making the most of the sunshine?

Easter Sunday

Jacket - Zara (similar here and here), Top - Primark, Jeans - ASOS, Shoes - New Look

Happy Easter all you lovely folk! I'm just about to tuck into a lovely gammon steak with the rest of my family so won't keep you for long. I was feeling very spring-esque today so decided to go all Mary Berry and wear a nice floral jacket. I bought this jacket from Zara a year or so a go and haven't really got enough wear out of it so hopefully now I've remembered I have it, you'll be seeing a lot more of it! Its made of a silky material so feels really luxurious and comfy.

I picked this long sleeved ribbed top up in Primark the other day for a measly £4! They're selling very similar things in Topshop for a helluva lot more so if you're after something similar then definitely head to Primarni. Just have my standard ASOS high waisted jeans on coupled with some brand new summer-y shoes from New Look. These weaved sandals are a great transitional piece of footwear and will probably go with just about anything.

These pictures have highlighted to me just how much I need to get my hair recoloured (and probably cut) so I will be booking myself in at the hairdressers pronto! Hopefully later in the week I will be looking fully refreshed...am thinking about getting some sort of fringe?! Not totally sure though! What do you guys think?

What are you up to this Easter Sunday? Are you on Easter Holidays, too?
